Sarah Rodriguez named 2019 American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education Faculty Fellow: Sarah Rodriguez is an assistant professor in the School of Education at Iowa State. Dr. Rodriguez’s research addresses issues of equity, access, and retention in higher education, with a focus on Latinx students and students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Rodriguez will serve in this capacity at the 14th annual AAHHE National Conference, “Civil Rights & the Latinx Community: Our Social, Economic, and Educational Future,’ or ‘Derechos Civiles y la Communidad Latinx: Nuestro Futuro Social, Economico, y Educativo,” in February in Costa Mesa, Calif.
