AgNet picks up story about human development and family studies scientist leading opioid abuse prevention workshop: The ‘Planning to Take Action against Opioids in Your Community’ workshop, held on Sept. 12, was hosted by PROSPER Rx, an Iowa State project led by human development and family studies scientist Lisa Schainker. The project aims to help communities build networks — and provide coaching support to increase the capacity of ISU Extension and Outreach professionals to build and maintain community prevention systems to combat the opioid epidemic.
