Myers (’07 Ph.D. FCEDS) has been named interim executive director of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. The AAFCS board of directors announced the appointment on September 1, citing Myers for outstanding experience as an FCS secondary school teacher and a leader in preparing future FCS teachers. Myers has developed connections and made deep contributions to AAFCS in the areas of credentialing, education, and research.
