Amber Kargol receives Outstanding Service in Student Recruitment and Retention Award

Amber Kargol, an academic adviser in food science and human nutrition, is the recipient of this year’s Outstanding Service in Student Recruitment and Retention Award from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She teaches an orientation class, writes letters of recommendation and serves on committees, all to ensure student success at Iowa State. Kargol will be recognized Thursday, March 8 at a convocation and awards program at the Memorial Union. The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition is jointly administered by the College of Human Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
