Apply by Oct. 1 for international activities funding for AESHM, FSHN, HDFS students: Three international travel funds will accept applications from students until Oct. 1. The Donna L. Cowan International Fund in Family and Consumer Sciences is a $400 award given to support graduate students conducting research abroad. The Julia F. Anderson International Fund consists of two $1000 awards to enrich students by providing an opportunity to work with graduates who are abroad. Finally, the M. Catherine Welsh Fund consists of two $700 awards for undergraduate or graduate students traveling abroad for professional meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and educational research (not study abroad). International activities must commence between October 1, 2019 and March 31, 2020, to be eligible for the awards.
