Apply by Oct. 1 for international activities funding for AESHM, FSHN, HDFS students: Four international travel funds will accept applications from students until Oct. 1. The Donna L. Cowan International Fund in Family and Consumer Sciences is a $500 award given to support graduate student research abroad. The Julia F. Anderson International Fund consists of two $1000 awards to enrich students by providing an opportunity to work with graduates who are abroad. The Louise M. Rosenfeld International Fund is a $500 award for undergraduate or graduate students traveling abroad for university-related study, as well as for international undergraduate or graduate students returning to their home countries to plan for research projects and/or to collect data. Finally, the M. Catherine Welsh Fund consists of three $1000 awards for undergraduate or graduate students traveling abroad for professional meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, and educational research (not study abroad). International activities must commence between November 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019, to be eligible for the awards.
