Assistant teaching professor Kira Werstein was a recipient of the CHS Innovative Teaching Initiatives Grant in 2019 for her course, Kinesiology 259, Leadership Skills for Exercise programs. Her students lead each other in exercise, then review a video of their performance to improve their leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
