Athletic training students’ connection to state wrestling tournament featured in Inside Iowa State article

Iowa State athletic trainers put their classroom knowledge to the test as they assisted competitors at the 2020 state wrestling tournament. While they were supervised by certified athletic trainers, student trainers treated injuries in a condensed time frame without direct assistance. Exposure to statewide events provides networking opportunities for students and allows the athletic training program to expand.
