Fashion Suburbia: Dressing the Family in Mid-Century America: Join speaker Jennifer Farley Gordon, who has a doctorate in apparel, events, and hospitality management, in exploring the way that clothing style and clothing consumption factored in post-war America. This event is in conjunction with the ‘Designed for a Modern Life’ joint exhibition by the Textiles and Clothing Museum and the Christian Petersen Art Museum. The exhibit will be open for thirty minutes before and after the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.
