Beek Street Antiques and Collectibles team wins Best of Show Consulting Project at Entrepreneurship Showcase

Iowa State University apparel, merchandising and design students Carly Grimm, Carlee Horn, Hannah Scheelhaase, and Emily Schrimpf — and event management students Ellie Schmit and Abby Tjaden — were honored at the College of Human Sciences Entrepreneurship Showcase, for their proposed ideas to grow Beek Street Antiques and Collectibles, an existing business in Gowrie, Iowa.

In the Best of Show Consulting Project for an Existing Business category, judges consider proposed enhancements that will aid in creating brand identity for the business, foster unique competitive advantages, create added value for the firm and its customers, and ultimately have the potential to positively impact firm performance.
