Daniel Spikes, Kyle Holtman, Greg Welk, Anita Rollins, Sara Sprouse to be recognized with university awards

Five human scientists will be among more than 60 Iowa State faculty and staff who will be honored during the university’s annual awards ceremony Sept. 14 in the Memorial Union Great Hall. Daniel Spikes, an assistant professor in the School of Education, will receive the Award for Inclusive Excellence. Kyle Holtman, an academic adviser in kinesiology, will receive the Award for Early Achievement in Academic Advising. Gregory Welk, a Barbara E. Forker Professor in kinesiology, will receive the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research. Anita Rollins, a program coordinator in the School of Education, will receive the Professional and Scientific Excellence Award. And Sara Sprouse, a human sciences specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach, will receive the Professional and Scientific Outstanding New Professional Award.
