Diana Mitchell named superintendent of New Jersey school district: School of Education alumna Diana Mitchell was recently named superintendent of the Plainfield Public School District in Plainfield, New Jersey. Mitchell received her master’s in educational administration from Iowa State in 1994, and has since then earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Bowie State University; she has utilized her education to serve students and their families for over 28 years.
