Disciplinary literacy group led by Jeanne Dyches travel to Rome and Florence: Jeanne Dyches, an assistant professor in the School of Education, is leading 13 students on a new study abroad program in Rome and Florence. The program, which runs from May 7 to 26, teaches students about ‘disciplinary literacy,’ or delivering subject matter content in ways specific to their discipline. Teachers must be able to help students think like a mathematician, historian, scientist, or author.
