Eating with your eyes: Virtual reality can alter taste: According to research publish in the Journal of Food Science, people are influenced by the environment in which they eat. Scientists from Cornell University, along with Alden Riak, senior in food science, used virtual reality to show how people’s perception of food can be altered by their surroundings in a research study publish July 25, 2018.
