Brandon Shrauth, the principal at Fellows Elementary School in Ames, who holds three education degrees from Iowa State, on Monday received the Ames School District’s overall Dan Woodin Excellence in Education Award from his school district. Alumni and teachers Kim Krantz (’09 CRT Special Education, ’11 MS Education) and Marie Shipley (’03 Elementary Education) were among six others receiving recognition for excellence.
