Birdie Shirtcliff, professor in human sciences, received a $24,363 grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to investigate the process of puberty and hormones of puberty on neural development as girls develop through adolescence. This project will expand the present knowledge of development, and examine relations between puberty and reward sensitivity, especially among young females.
