FSHN kicks off 2018 Cyclone Scholar Summer Research Experience: The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition kicked off the 2018 Cyclone Scholar Summer Research Experience participants on June 4. 10 participating students from various colleges and universities across the United States took part in orientation and enjoyed lunch with their FSHN faculty mentors.
The students will spend the next eight weeks conducting research alongside their faculty mentors, attending weekly lunch and learns, and participating in field trips to learn about various food production systems in the state.
