Help to provide laptops for the first cohort of 13 ISU 4U Promise scholars:
The first ISU 4U Promise scholars cohort of 13 students is headed to Iowa State in fall 2018. Laptops are essential for their academic success and cost about $1,500 each at the ISU Bookstore. ISU 4U Promise has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise $10,000 to provide these laptops to these students. The ISU 4U Promise program is a college access and affordability initiative serving students and families from the racially and ethnically diverse King and Moulton elementary schools in Des Moines.
