Iowa State alumna, Belange Mutunda focuses on sustainability, inclusion, and community as she creates fashion with a purpose

Belange Mutunda, apparel, merchandising, and design alumna, combined her love for fashion with her drive to make a difference in the community. Mutunda created Belange Handmade and uses a portion of the proceeds from her company’s sales to provide reusable menstrual supplies to women and young girls impacted by period poverty through her foundation, the BHM Foundation.
