Iowa State Daily features first cohort of ISU 4U Promise program: The Iowa State Daily publish an article highlighting the first cohort of ISU 4U Promise, a partnership between Iowa State University and Des Moines Public Schools, or DMPS. The ISU 4U Promise program offers partial or full tuition awards to students who finish the fifth grade at Moulton or King elementary school, continue their secondary education in the Des Moines Public School District, graduate from a Des Moines public high school, then apply to, and are admitted to Iowa State University. The first cohort of students involved with the program will graduate from high school in May; of the 23 students in the program, 11 have officially enrolled at Iowa State.
