ISU Extension and Outreach’s David Brown featured in article about healthy parent relationships: In an Iowa State University Extension and Outreach article, David Brown, a human sciences specialist in family life, explains the benefits that a stable, loving relationship can have on parenting. According to Brown, parents who experienced harsh parenting as children are less likely to do the same with their own children if their relationship with their partner is warm and supportive. ISU Extension and Outreach offers three different relationship education programs for families and parents of different circumstances.
