The Iowa Academy of Education named Jeanne Dyches, assistant professor in the School of Education, the recipient of the 2019 Thomas N. Urban Research Award for her article ‘Foregrounding equity in teacher education: Toward a model of social justice pedagogical and content knowledge’ publish in the Journal of Teacher Education. The award recognizes outstanding research or scholarly contributions to Iowa education.
