Jessica Nigg and Jennifer Watson awarded Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation scholarships

Jessica Nigg, graduate student in apparel, events, and hospitality management (AESHM), received $10,000 from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Commission on Dietetic Registration Doctoral Scholarship to continue pursuit of her Ph.D. Jessica was chosen for this competitive scholarship given her practice and teaching in dietetics, food service, and food science. Jennifer Watson, also a graduate student in AESHM, received the $2,500 Conagra Foods Scholarship to further fund her Ph.D. studies. Jennifer was chosen from a competitive pool of candidates; her research interests are in consumers’ acceptance of plant-based products. These Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation awards highlight the strengths of both of these graduate students’ abilities in their field of study, and their motivation towards success in their degrees.
