Johnnie Campbell in SOE and Graham Redweik in FSHN receive 2020 McNair Graduate Student Mentor of the Year Award

Johnnie Campbell, a graduating master’s student in education-student affairs, and Graham Redweik, who is studying food science and human nutrition and microbiology, have both been named the 2020 McNair Graduate Student Mentor of the Year by the ISU Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program. Mentoring of undergraduate students is a key component of the McNair Scholars program, which aims to increase the attainment of Ph.D. scholars from underrepresented groups. The award is typically bestowed to only one student each year.
