Mickie Deaton honored with Woodin CYtation Award from ISU P&S Council

Mickie Deaton, an academic adviser in food science and human nutrition, has received the Woodin CYtation Award from the ISU Professional and Scientific Council. The award honors exemplary service to P&S employees, a willingness to go above and beyond, compassion and respect for others, leadership, innovation, and initiative. Deaton recently accepted responsibility for coordinating undergraduate programs in food science and human nutrition, while continuing to mentor student advisees. She is involved in student recruitment activities and several other committees. She is chair-elect of the College of Health and Human Sciences P&S Council and also serves on ISU P&S Council.
