Newly selected School of Education director featured in Jan. 24 Des Moines Business Record brief: Donald Hackmann, a professor of educational leadership at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, has been named director of the School of Education and the first Frances S. and Arthur L. Wallace Professor in the College of Human Sciences. Hackmann is a former Iowa State faculty member, beginning as an assistant professor of educational administration in 1998 and serving on the faculty until 2004. His appointment will be effective July 1.
