Nominate your major professor for the Margaret Ellen White Award, by November 11: The Margaret Ellen White Award recognizes a member of the graduate faculty each year with a prize of $2,500 and a plaque. The award recognizes effective major professors who serve as mentors and enrich the student-professor relationship by providing support and attending to details, enabling students to finish their work in a timely and scholarly manner. Major professors considered for this award are also expected to provide professional assistance to their students beyond graduation. Nominate your major professor before the Nov. 11 deadline by sending your nomination to a Graduate Student Senator who represents your academic department.
