Recent Canvas updates include new Canvas@ISU link, dashboard changes, and how to find all assignment dates in a single screen

Both Canvas and ISU have updated features that will help instructors prepare and manage their Canvas class accounts. (1) A new Canvas@ISU link on the Canvas Help menu replaces the previous MyCanvas Student and MyCanvas Teacher links. Canvas@ISU goes to the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching’s (CELT) ‘Teaching with Technology’ website. (2) In Canvas, instructors can now go to Assignments, expand the Assignments Settings menu (3 dots), and select Edit Assignment Dates. This displays all activity start, end, and due dates on a single screen. You can batch shift all or a subset of dates, or edit each one individually. (3) Your Canvas Dashboard now separates courses into Published and Unpublished groups. You can publish a course from the Help > Global Administration Tool > Prepare to Teach tool, or by going into the course > ISU AdminTools > View Additional Course Settings.
