May 4, 2018Register to attend Adventure Comes to You: Latest in Literacy, June 6-7 in Atlantic and Humboldt: The Iowa State University School of Education faculty will present two free workshops this summer, highlighting the latest research and practices in literacy. Interested participants can choose to attend June 6 in Atlantic or June 7 in Humboldt. Presenters include Denise Crawford, Connie Beecher, Emily Hayden, Soo Ahn, and Sara Nelson. The morning will consist of a welcome and brief overview of topics. Participants then will engage with faculty in current themes in literacy. Next, participants will select up to two topics for small group interactive study. The day will end with a summary review and whole-group interactive discussion. There is no cost for participating in the workshop. Coffee and lunch will be available. Interested participants must register online at least one week prior to the event.
