Saloni Purandare, a doctoral student in apparel, merchandising, and design, was a finalist in the 2020-21 Three Minute Thesis competition hosted by the Iowa State University Graduate College. Purandare’s presentation focused on development of antimicrobial fabric inspired by sharkskin and made with a 3D printer. Her presentation on YouTube starts 13-1/2 minutes into the 23-minute final competition video.
