Sarah Francis appointed to the USDA National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics (NAREEE) Advisory Board: Sarah Francis, associate professor of food science and human nutrition and human sciences state specialist in nutrition and wellness, has been selected to serve on the National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics Advisory Board through September 2021. The NAREEE Board regularly advises the Secretary of Agriculture and land-grant colleges and universities on top national priorities and policies related to food and agricultural research, education, extension, and economics. Board members also perform an annual review of the relevance of USDA research, education, economics, and extension programs and the adequacy of funding for those programs.
