School of Education alumnus Jesse Ulrich chosen as Fort Dodge superintendent: The Fort Dodge school district announced Monday its plans to hire Jesse Ulrich, who received his master’s degree in education from Iowa State in 2008 and his doctorate in 2017, as the district’s new superintendent. The news was covered by The Messenger newspaper. Ulrich was one of four finalists for the job. The hiring is pending board approval March 26.
