School of Education director search extended
June 14, 2018Laura Jolly, dean and Dean’s Chair in the College of Human Sciences, has announced that the search for the next director of the School of Education will be extended. Jolly will meet with the search committee and Parker Executive Search representatives in the next few weeks to develop a search process and timeline for a second round of interviews to be held during the fall semester. Strathe had planned to retire at the end of June but has agreed to continue her leadership. Jolly expressed appreciation for Strathe’s commitment as well as for the efforts of the search committee and School of Education faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders who have participated in the search process. She also asked for their continued assistance in bringing the search to a successful conclusion.
