Students connect with Italian food during ‘For the Love of Italy and Food’:
Iowa State University students, led by #ISUFSHN lecturers Erica Livingston Beirman and Linda Svendsen, are connecting with Italian food at home and abroad during the ‘For the Love of Italy and Food’ study abroad program. The experience includes connecting with the Barilla factory here in Ames and its original location in Parma, Italy; exploring the old foodie neighborhood, Testaccio, in Rome; agroturismos and farms in Tuscania; and making gelato in Florence.
