Students initiated into Phi Upsilon Omicron and Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Societies

Outstanding Iowa State University students studying in human sciences fields were initiated into the Phi Upsilon Omicron and Kappa Omicron Nu honor societies at a ceremony on April 7 in MacKay Auditorium. Kallen Anderson, a Registered Dietitian in ISU Dining who graduated with degrees in dietetics and family and consumer sciences education and studies in 2014, delivered the keynote address at the event. Graduating students also received honor cords. Both Phi Upsilon Omicron and Kappa Omicron Nu focus on leadership, service, and scholarship.
