Students who can’t afford to buy ISU-required laptop may request one by July 31, via the ISU Laptop Loaner Program

All students at Iowa State University will be required to own or obtain a laptop computer or other discipline-appropriate device beginning in fall 2020. Full-time, degree seeking students can’t afford to buy a laptop may apply by July 31, for a limited number of devices through the ISU Laptop Loaner Program. The College of Health and Human Sciences contributes to the loaner program.

Recommendations for laptops for students in majors offered within the College of Health and Human Sciences are on the web. Also available is information on how students can access the virtual desktop infrastructure (VID) computer labs.
