Using Canvas Studio

If you wish to have your students create and submit a video as an assignment, there are several ways you can set it up. In all cases the student will not be uploading a video file directly into the Canvas course. Instead, they will create and store it in a storage that is intended for videos, such as Studio (in Canvas), YouTube, or Vimeo. The easiest method is to have students store the video in Studio, within Canvas. If you want students to be able to view each other’s videos, then set the assignment up as a graded Discussion (class or group). If the video is only being shared with the grader, then use the Assignment tool and create a text submission assignment. In both cases, the student uses the Canvas text editor to embed a video they have stored in Studio. Follow the MORE link for student and teacher instructions.
