Virginia Wangerin honored as one of 100 Great Iowa Nurses 2020: Virginia Wangerin, assistant clinical professor in food science and human nutrition, was selected as one of 100 Great Iowa Nurses for 2020. The 100 Great Iowa Nurses award recognizes nurses that have made meaningful, lasting contributions to their patients, colleagues, and the nursing profession. The award ceremony will take place May 3 at 3 p.m. at the Iowa Events Center.
