Responsibilities

My job responsibilities included making daily and weekly sales recaps, completing Monday reports, making reports to send to upper management, attending classes and trainings, distinguishing best sellers for a brand and presenting to my team, creating/cancelling P.O.'s, other tasks regarding competitive shopping and working on a shark tank project near the end of my internship.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment from my experience was learning how to understand the business better and speak to it. I learned so much about the business, and the products within my department. I feel as though I learned so much in a short amount of time and was able to genuinely see how the business performs in my office.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned from the experience is to be flexible. Schedules constantly change and no day is the same. I learned how to plan for each day, but also be open to changes, and adapt quickly to those changes made.

What advice would you give?

Ask a million questions! Asking questions will not only help you do your job better, but it will let your manager know you are curious and want to learn more about the business. Continuing to ask questions and genuinely being interested in the business goes a long way in the success of your internship!
