Addison Snyder

Responsibilities

I work in Merchandising specifically in Disney Springs, Walt Disney World. My responsibilities include working well with others, having good guest relations, handling cash and guest accounts. I also work with food at my location, so I have to know safety protocol for food preparation and handling. Lastly, a huge part of my job is providing information for guests. Having knowledge about Disney, sale promotions and new things that are happening at Disney is really helpful.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment from my internship has been building guest relations experience. I love seeing people walk away with a smile. Knowing that I helped them and made their day better is what makes it all worth it.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students is to take any and every opportunity that comes your way. It is a great learning experience either if you love it or hate it. The best thing you can do is explore out of your comfort zone and experience new things.
