Responsibilities

I worked alongside the two Event Coordinators at Parks Marina. I've done everything from attending meetings about how to better market excursion boats with such a wet summer to help plan and execute the first wedding held in their new event space! I've also gotten to see the whole process of an event start to finish!

Accomplishments

One of my greatest accomplishments is being trusted to do things on my own. Give open dates, pricing, and answer questions to potential clients. Another accomplishment is seeing the work that I've put into an event finally come together and getting to see the client's reaction is the best part!

What advice would you give?

Make sure to work hard in all aspects, admit when you're wrong, and don't be afraid to stand up for yourself.
