Helping with the setup & take down of events, on-site coordination, doing some projects for events, design proposals for clients, cleaning, contacting vendors, product sourcing, and blogging.
The greatest accomplishment from my experience is when I began I made a design proposal for a client, which shows all aspects of the wedding and what they can expect from the bridal bouquet clear to the table linens. This design proposal was one of the very first things that I had done and a couple weeks later I got to sit in on the meeting where Pauleen explained the proposal to the client and then a month or so after that I got to work the actual wedding and see all of my work and ideas come together.
What advice would you give?
Always ask your employer what you could do next because there is always something to do!
