Responsibilities

Work closely with the program team to design curriculum for the upcoming summer and the kids that would be coming to camp. Help brainstorm new ideas to keep things interesting, reach out to local donors, and help with the annual fundraising event to help send kids to camp.

Accomplishments

Created a weeks worth of activities in a specific rotation for the staff to use when they go offsite to provide the camp experience to kids.

What advice would you give?

Go outside your comfort zone, think big when it comes to where you want to do your internships. You don't have to do what others have done in years past or what is easiest available to you, it's always worth a shot reaching out!
