Responsibilities

While working at the Iowa Prison Industries, I worked to do several tasks including: -Developing Technical packages -developing product proposals -Developing floor plans -assisting the team with developing logos -Assisting the team with special projects -Preforming production research and material sourcing -Learning about embroidery/digital printing/screen printing

Accomplishments

Developed the technical package for men's tactical pants.

What advice would you give?

Have an open mind and ask a lot of questions in order to learn. You get to use your design and Adobe skills in many different ways. Don't be intimidated by the fact that you are working with offenders, most are very knowledgeable and skilled at their jobs and take pride in their work.
