Responsibilities

I have been required to complete all training for the internship to be able to go out to response calls and attend the Child Protection Center at Blank Children's hospital for child sexual assault cases by myself. I attend all legal meetings, hearings, trials, depositions, detective interviews, and other legal hearings to help support the victim. I respond to Sexual Assault calls at the hospital as well as violent crime calls.

Accomplishments

The greatest accomplishment at my internship was placing a part-time job after completing my internship but also being able to further my training and knowledge in Sexual Assault and Violent Crime.

What advice would you give?

The best advice for future students is looking for your internship early and going for the one that you feel will best suit you and are the most interested in for the best outcome. I would also say to really be an active intern to learn the most and to build amazing repor.
