I had two roles during my internship. The first was essentially an administrative assistant. I helped create files, filed papers, sent emails to parents and teachers, updated immunization record and planned events for the center. The other thing I did was act as an associate teacher. I filled in in the classrooms as needed. I helped carry out lesson plans, gave redirection and supervision to children and care for the children's needs.
I think my greatest accomplishment is that I became more comfortable in a classroom setting. It gave me the opportunity to really learn about how to effectively work with children.
