My responsibilities at Ames Fitness Center included shadowing personal trainers and group fitness instructors, conducting my own group fitness classes, coaching clients one-on-one, operate the In Body scale, conduct functional assessments, maintain cleanliness of facility and equipment, and build rapport with clients and gym members. I was also responsible for group fitness classes and personal training for 12 Go Red for Women Challengers.
My greatest accomplishment was helping the 12 Go Red for Women Challengers reach their fitness and mental goals.
What advice would you give?
I would advice future students to continue educating themselves on a daily basis. The fitness industry is always changing and it is important to stay educated in order to be the best, and to provide your clients with the best.
