Responsibilities

I observed and engaged in ABA, OT, and ST sessions. I engaged in large group and led large group. I did clinic tasks like making materials, responding quickly to needs in the clinic, and cleaning up at the end of the day.

Accomplishments

Being able to build rapport with the clients and learn how to work with a population that was newer to me in a professional setting.

Learning experience

How to be flexible in times that may be stressful and learning how to communicate properly during the times to ensure that everything is fixed and everyone who needed help was given the help they needed.

What advice would you give?

To try something out of my comfort zone and to push yourself in your internship to ask a lot of questions, ask for lots of things to do, and find ways to learn that may not be the typical way you would learn.
