Responsibilities

Assisted social worker case managers and investigators during home visits. Wrote case studies demonstrating the health and history of clients and made recommendations to improve the well-being of clients. Observed professionals to establish best practices when communicating with families.

Accomplishments

Helping a family understand that HHS was not there to break up their family unit but to help the parents get assistance and work to better themselves for their family.

Learning experience

People are scared to ask for help and its difficult to be the people that help them, but its an important job that needs to be done.

What advice would you give?

Internships are a great chance to help yourself, do not be afraid to go find people you work with for things to do because you could learn so much from those opportunities.
