Responsibilities

Unpacking new merchandise and put it out on display on the sales floor. Gained work experience in the men’s, women’s, kid’s, cosmetics, and shoe departments. Assisted management in closing and opening procedures for the store. Made up to $1,000-$2,000 in sales on average per shift. Maintained customer service expectations during liquidation process.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishments during this experience would be that I got a more well rounded experience in all departments and duties in the store. I got to work in all departments of the store and help out supervisors with some of their common tasks.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students would be to go for your dream internship and apply yourself fully in whatever you do. Making a good impression and building those connections can help you further yourself in your career.
